FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where is my weekly update? There are many stages involved in building a truck. There will be times when your truck may need to wait for a place in the next stage of production to open up. If your truck is waiting for the next stage to begin, we generally do not take pictures unless requested. Why is there a "fish-eye" effect in my pictures? Our trucks are often times stored close together in the production line. In order to take a picture that allows the client to see the full build, we must use a wide angle lens. This can slightly distort the picture and because of that, we use it only when completely necessary. If more specific angles, details or close ups are required by the client, we do offer additional photo packages to cover those needs. Why are there ladders in my pictures? Ladders are often seen placed next to a truck. This is an important part of the company’s safety procedures. We do not move or touch them. Do you take pictures on top of ladders? We do not go on top of trucks for our general photo reports. However, we do offer an Inspection Package which does include top of truck updates. Why are there more pictures one week than another? We are very careful not to impede the progress of a truck build. The production schedule is already time sensitive and while we schedule best we can, production in and of itself is not always predictable. We take the best images we can at the time so that the people building your truck can continue with what they do best. I have a specific image request. Do you take requests? We do take photo requests depending on the photo package included in your build. While our general photo reports are designed to cover the overall status of your build, we offer an Inspection Package which goes more in depth. With the Inspection Package, updated inspections happen through the entirety of the build process and includes more detailed images of the build as well as the compliance specifications. |
